Women in Technology Scholarship
Eligibility
Women of any age and nationality, pursuing an information technology (IT) degree at an accredited university/college/institute, who demonstrate an outstanding academic record during their academic studies, including information technology subjects. Demonstrated initiative, ambition and commitment to pursuing a career in information technology. Online students are also eligible to apply if enrolled at an accredited university/college/institute.
Funding
Zonta International will award up to 20 scholarships of US$8,000 each. Women in Technology Scholarships are made possible through generous contributions to the Rose Fund from Zontians, Zonta clubs and friends of Zonta.
Amelia Earhart Fellowship
Eligibility
Women of any nationality pursuing a Ph.D./doctoral degree who demonstrate a superior academic record conducting research applied to aerospace engineering or space sciences are eligible. It is imperative that students be registered in a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program and have completed at least one year of that program or have received a master’s degree in an aerospace-applied field at the time the application is submitted.

Amelia Earhart Fellowships are made possible by generous contributions to the Zonta Foundation for Women Amelia Earhart Fellowship Fund.
Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship
The JMK Scholarship is for women of any age pursuing a business or business-related program at an accredited college or university, who demonstrates outstanding potential in the field, and is living or studying in a Zonta district or region. Students must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program.
Applicants must apply to Zonta Chatham-Kent by June. There is no monetary award at the local level but the successful candidate will be submitted to Zonta District 15 to compete for the $2,000 District 15 award, by mid-July. That winner will compete for one of the 6 international awards of $8,000.
This scholarship was started in 1998 with a bequest from Jane M. Klausman, member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse NY. It is funded through investment income generated by the Klausman bequest, as well as contributions to the Zonta International Foundation JMK Scholarship Fund from Zonta Clubs and individuals.
