Zonta Club of Chatham-Kent supports women and children in the areas of education, health and wellness, team pursuits, literacy and vocational training, and gender equality.

Proceeds are directed to local agencies throughout the Chatham region, personal requests from our community, educational burseries, as well Zonta International Projects that include the Zonta Says No campaign to end gender violence.

Here’s a cross section of causes we’ve supported in the past:
– All girls robotics team, Build A Dream Robotics Team #6875: entry to the World Robotics Championship
– Chatham-Kent Secondary School girls hockey team: trip to the All-Ontario Championships (OFSAA)
– donated gas vouchers to help women get to their training classes at the Goodwill Career Centre
– donated clothing for victims of domestic violence who have to leave their clothing for evidence at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Emergency Department
